Hi! My name is Amy, and I am a book hoarder. I've been a BH since I was a teen, but back then, I merely collected them. The bigger the book, the skinnier the pages, the happier I was! Now, at least, I can say that I read them, as well! :) Since I love all things book-related, I thought starting a blog was the next logical step. I'm also a bit of a recipe junkie. Do I cook? Meh - not so much. But, I *love* cookbooks! (See, there goes my hoarding tendency again!) Occasionally, I may come across an excellent little recipe that just needs to be shouted from the rooftops! (Not literally, of course. But, you're free to try it if you'd like!) Anywho, the bulk of this blog will be book reviews by yours truly, with the occasional yummy foodstuff thrown in. Please keep in mind that I am - in no way, shape, or form - a book nazi, an intellectual bookworm, a softcover snob. Nosiree, bob, that's not me. I read strictly for entertainment purposes. If I happen to pick up a little factoid along the way, boo-yah, yay me! But, at the same time, some of my favorites tomes could be considered by others to be somewhat low-brow. I care not.
I live in a little town in Jersey, close to NYC, with my husband and best friend, Jimmy. I have a few other (not-so) minor obsessions including Bruce Springsteen and Walt Disney World - my happy place! Thanks for checking out the place. Pull up a chair, grab a cup o' joe, and relax...
